Welcome!

Welcome to Otterbein’s internship blog! We are so excited to utilize this site as a place to share the amazing things that Otterbein students are doing and learning through their internship experiences. We truly believe in the transformative power that internships hold. They can help inform career decisions and expose students to professional work environments. Internships can also help students confirm their career direction and expand their professional network. There are so many benefits that come with completing an internship, but we believe that one of the greatest things internships offer is the opportunity to develop your professional skill set through hands-on work, thus helping Otterbein students “prepare to soar” in their future careers.

We will utilize this blog to highlight students’ internship experiences, profile unique opportunities, and share internship tips and advice. We plan to feature students of all majors, class years and interests along with employers from a variety of industries. We hope that our readers are inspired by the stories we post and that Otterbein students continue to share their internships and professional experiences (non-credit bearing internships) with us by completing our Internship & Professional Experience Reporting Form.

If you are interested in completing an internship or would like to speak to a staff member in the Center for Career & Professional Development about your internship search, feel free to make an appointment. We look forward to working with you as you “prepare to soar.”

Sincerely,

The CCPD Staff
